Resolution

Yes, it is possible to bulk import import additional aliases from a spreadsheet. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Prepare Your Spreadsheet:

  • Create a spreadsheet with a list of your entities.
  • Include a column for each alias. You can add as many aliases as you want, as long as they are each in their own column.

2. Upload the Spreadsheet:

  • From the Registry, click on the + sign and select Update Entities.
  • Select the option to import from a spreadsheet.

3. Map Columns:

  • During the import process, map the columns in your spreadsheet to the corresponding fields in Benchling.
  • Select the alias column(s) as “Additional Alias”.
