Question
What happens to the sequence data I enter into the AlphaFold, Chai-1 or Boltz-2 programs in Benchling? Can anyone outside my company see it? Is it being used to train a data model?
Environment
AlphaFold, Chai-1, Boltz-2, AI, Molecular Biology
Answer
AA sequences are kept confidential and secure following industry best practices. We do not send AA sequences for structure predictions to any third-party software. We are running AlphaFold, Chai-1, and Boltz-2 on our own ML infrastructure. And we do not, in any way, aggregate customer data or use customer data to train these models. The AlphaFold model is trained by DeepMind on publicly available datasets.
