Issue
A Notebook entry has been completed, sent for review, and accepted, but continues to pop up as the first thing in the user's workspace in Benchling when they sign on.
Environment
Notebook
Cause
To see a blank Workspace when you open Benchling, you must have closed your Benchling Entry tabs at the end of the previous session AND access Benchling using the URL [subdomain].benchling.com or [subdomain].benchling.com/editor.
Resolution steps
First, make sure to close out all Benchling Notebook Entry and Registry Entry tabs when you're finished using Benchling.
Next, access Benchling by going to "[subdomain].benchling.com" (or "[subdomain].benchling.com/editor" - these two will take you to the exact same page). If you click a link that has any text after "[subdomain].benchling.com" (other than 'editor'), such as the folder and entry name, then that link will open a specific notebook or registry entry, even if you previously closed out that Notebook Entry or Registry Entry tab. This can often happen if you're opening Benchling via a bookmark or a browser history link. You may want to bookmark [subdomain].benchling.com to quickly navigate to your empty workspace.
