We support these nonstandard amino acids: B, J, O, U, X, Z

Nonstandard amino acids are amino acids that have been chemically modified after being incorporated into a protein. They occur in living organisms but aren't found in proteins.

The molecular weights are calculated and can be used as ambiguous codons together or alone in a sequence. To learn more about these amino acids, visit How are protein characteristics calculated? and the ChemPep list of standard amino acids.
