Select your enzymes
Open the Digests panel by clicking the scissors at the right. Select the restriction enzymes you wish to use. You can always create your own enzyme lists for you specific organization.
Run a digest
After you've selected your enzymes, click Run Digest.
A tab will open showing the resulting fragments and the buffers to use. Click on the first row in the fragment table to select it on the sequence.
View and save your virtual digest
Open the Virtual Digest tab. Clicking on a band will also select it on the sequence.
Go back to the Digest tab. Give it a name and click Save. The digest can now be reopened from the Saved Digests section of the Digests panel.
Reorder the lanes of your virtual digest
You can reorder the lanes of your virtual digest by reordering your digest tabs on your sequence.
