Create a workflow
Click into the workflows module and select +New Workflow on the top right corner.
A 'create workflow' window will appear below. Designate the name for your new workflow and also which project it will live in. Afterwards, select the template you would like to create your workflow from, or select start from scratch to create a brand new workflow.
Add stages
Step 1: In the configuration stage of workflows, click the + button to add a stage:
Note: if you create a workflows from template, stages will already be present.
Step 2: Specify the stage name, experimental conditions and either a new entry template, or reuse an existing template.
Delete stages
Step 1: In the configuration stages of workflows, hover on the right end of the stage to delete. A pencil and trash can will appear.
Step 2: Press the trash can and confirm deletion.
Use experimental conditions
Step 1: In the configuration stages of workflows, hover on the right end of the stage where you want to add experimental conditions. A pencil and trash can will appear. Press the pencil.
Step 2: Under the 'Edit Stage' window, add an experimental condition Name and the options for that condition (e.g. Name = Temperature (˚C), Options = 30, 37). Save.
Step 3: To create one arm per experimental condition, right-click on the relevant stage's node in the visualization. Choose 'Duplicate branch for all conditions'.
Duplicate branches
Step 1: To duplicate any branch, right-click on the node of the branch you want to replicate. Choose 'Duplicate branch from here'
Change workflow inputs
Step 1: To change the input for any stage (to a different stage or to an external source), right-click on the node whose input you want to change. Choose 'Select input source...'
Step 2: Chose a previous node to set that as the input (the orange node highlights the input stage).
Step 2 Alternate: Alternately, click in the grey area to set the input as an external, coming from outside the workflow.
