What are date inserts?
Benchling Date Inserts allow you to better organize your lab notebook entry across multi-day experiments. The dates are linked to your calendar - the calendar updates as you add new dates in your entry!
Add date inserts
Insert new days into your entry by clicking Insert and then New Day.
If needed, click on the inserted date in the entry to change the date to a new date.
Change an inserted day
Right click on the date mark and then select the new day. Your Notebook entry must advance chronologically, so an inserted day early in your Notebook entry cannot be dated later than the next inserted day later in your Notebook entry.
