The Inventory application in Benchling allows you to insert samples from your Registry into containers in your Inventory. Containers (such as cryovials or wells) can be inserted into boxes or plates and can be assigned to any location (Rack, Freezer, Room, etc.).
Navigate to the Inventory configuration page
After the Inventory configuration has been set up for your organization, you can configure your inventory schemas from the "Registry Settings" page.

Navigate to the "Registry Settings" page by clicking on the gearbox icon in the Inventory menu.
2. Select the Inventory Schema type that you want to configure from the left side of the Registry Settings menu.
