How do data backups work in Benchling?

Benchling backs up data in two ways:

  • Incrementally for the last five weeks, so users can restore previous versions of notebook entries for specific points in time

  • Monthly, for long-term storage

All your data is version controlled, so you can always access older versions of any file.
