Note: We’re continually improving the Benchling platform to ensure it keeps up with our customers’ needs. As of October 29, 2021, we replaced Results tables with an updated version. If you are currently using this version of Results tables and want to learn more, contact your organization’s Benchling admin or Customer Success representative. If you are new to Results tables, visit Use a Results table.

To mark a result status as invalid, highlight the cell, row, or column in your results table, then click Set validation to the left of the gear icon in the table toolbar.

After marking a cell, row, or column as invalid, it displays a yellow flag explaining the reason for invalidation.

If the result is later determined to be valid, you can validate it by clicking Set validation, which changes the flag color to blue.

Click the flag to view the full history of validation changes.
