Modified Oligonucleotides: Search & Filter

Searching for a specific modified oligonucleotide sequence within Benchling is possible by applying filters. For example, you can filter by a specific nucleotide or HELM string. By utilizing multiple filters, you can perform more advanced searches for a specific monomer at a particular position in a sequence, or search for a sequence that contains a number of monomers with specific nucleotide modifications. Search/Filter functions can be used to find desired sequences in Projects, Global Search, and the Registry.

To search for a modified oligo by nucleotide string:

  1. Select Global Search from the Navigation Bar and expand the view using the arrow icon

  2. Search for a partial or exact natural nucleotide sequence by adding a Nucleotide String Filter
