Reserving containers

Scientists reserve containers when they plan to use them in a future experiment, and do not want other scientists to inadvertently use them before then. Containers could also be reserved for a specific purpose, for example, such as controls in an experiment. 


To reserve a container, select the container(s) you wish to reserve:


Fill in who is reserving the containers, a description, and optionally a worklist: 

The containers are then reserved until the assignee checks them back in.
