When capturing data in your study over time you can set up the timepoints in a Data table using the timeseries type of Data table in Benchling In Vivo using one of two methods.

Note: Only numeric values can be entered into a timeseries Data table. Add a unit to the Data table name to record the corresponding unit for these values, if applicable.

  1. Automatic - time points at regular intervals are generated automatically using the information provided at setup

2. Manual - for timepoints at irregular intervals build up the list of timepoints using the "Add timepoint" button.

Adding and editing columns

You can add additional columns to the end of your table by using the "add column" button in the tool bar.

Edit or delete columns using the column actions menu
