If you have admin or Write permissions in a template collection, you can archive its templates and sub-templates, or the template collection itself.

If this feature isn't enabled on your tenant, you can permanently delete templates and template collections.

Archive a template or sub-template

When templates are archived:

  • They can only be viewed, not edited
  • Users can't create entries from them
  • They remain linked in the entry source link for entries that were created from it

You can archive and unarchive a template from the template collection view or from the Information panel in the template itself.

Note: Archived templates don't display in searches. To find archived templates, use the Archived filter in the toolbar.
