Using the Substitution Formula Within a Notebook Table

When entering data into a Notebook table, the SUBSTITUTION formula is now available. The SUBSTITUTION formula is used to replace text in a given string by matching. For example, =SUBSTITUTE("952-455-7865","-","") returns "9524557865" where the dashes can be removed or replaced.

@-mentioning Notebook Entries

When @-mentioning a Notebook entry, the entry name and the entry ID can both be included in the display name. Please contact your Customer Success representative to enable this feature.

Generate Requests Directly from a Workflow

Requests can now be generated on either input or output tables within a workflow Notebook entry. As an example, initiate a workflow and add samples to the input table. Once samples have been added, select the samples of interest via the blue check box to the righthand side of the Sample ID. A request can be created with these samples by selecting the clipboard icon (“Create request”). A similar action can be performed when output samples are generated from the workflow. More information on input and output tables can be found here.

Sequence Metadata Available Upon Import from an External Database
