Sometimes, it is necessary to edit a Request or Task Schema by archiving fields so that they can no longer be used in future requests.  Note that archiving a request or task schema field will not archive any of the data in prior requests submitted and executed.

In order to archive a Request, Task, or Request Sample schema field:

  1. Navigate into the registry settings, then navigate into the JSON configuration of your request or task
  2. Scroll down to the field that you wish to archive.  Add a new property called "archiveRecord" with the reason for archival, as shown below:

Tip: you can leave the brackets empty ("archiveRecord": {}) to default to the reason of "Other".
