Once you have configured your printers and created labels for label printing, you will be ready to print labels to track inventory items. 

Any storage item in Benchling can have a label printed.

1. Select the printer icon next to the item barcode, which will open a print window.

2. Specify the label template to be used for this label. This defines what information will be printed and how it will be formatted.

3. Select the printer to which the label will be sent.

4. Specify the number of copies of each labels that are to be printed.

5. Select "Print".

Bulk print labels from list view

To print labels in bulk:

1. Navigate to a list view of the Inventory. This may be the expanded view of a list or may be the list view of containers from within a box.

2. Select the items for which to print labels.

3. Select the printer icon on the right side.

4. Specify the label template to be used for this label. This defines what information will be printed and how it will be formatted.

5. Select the printer to which the label will be sent.

6. Specify the number of copies of each labels that are to be printed.

7. Select "Print".
